It has a water resistant housing with an easy to read digital LCD display that shows the internal temperature in Fahrenheit or Celsius degrees.

It can measure temperatures from -58 to 572 F or -50 to 300 C. The thermometer comes with an adjustable temperature scale selection (F or C) so you can choose the unit that you prefer to use. It also has a temperature alarm that alerts you when the meat reaches a safe internal temperature.
